The PTSO strives to enhance and support the school experience of all of our students and staff.
Joining the PTSO is easy!
Membership dollars are used for teacher grants.
Donations and fundraising help fund events such as school dances, field trips, 8th Grade Promotion, theater productions, scholarships, special speakers, garden projects, to purchase library books & resources and much much more.
PTSO annual membership is only $10 for the 2025-2026 school year. But did you know that if we received $55 per student, it would cover all costs for the whole school year?!!
PTSO Meeting attendance is appreciated but not required.
We are a volunteer organization made of parents, teachers, and students whose mission is to support and promote an environment at McKemy where teachers and administrators can do their best work, and our students can do their best learning.
For only $10 per year, you can join the PTSO and help make a big difference in our children's school experience!
McKemy PTSO Welcomes You to Get Involved!
What makes McKemy such a great place is everyone's involvement. We’ve got teachers who prove they care through their actions, committing to the extra work of fulfilling International Baccalaureate requirements, organizing school activities, volunteering for the annual events, and sponsoring after-school projects.
Parents like you, with the same mission as the teachers and staff, do right by our children and enable their futures through education.
The PTSO enables everyone working together -- parents, teachers, and students -- all toward a common goal of making the middle school experience the best it can be for our children.
We have fun but we also need your help. There is something for everyone -- from donating to volunteering, attending events or joining the PTSO.
PTSO volunteering is also an opportunity for you to hang out with your children, other parents, McKemy teachers, and staff. Some of the fun things we do are:
